Anna Hakopian is an Armenian born artist working in Yerevan.
In she 2007 graduated from Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts.
Her specialty in art is working with large scale figurative expressionist modern visual arts. She comes from a graphic art background. Using those techniques, she works on paper and oil on large format. You can see this in her collection called "On the Chair".
She also works on smaller format with images coming from some sort of the subculture or the underground of her inner world. You may see these works under the title "Pandora's Diaries" which was part of a solo exhibition in Yerevan, Armenia at AJZ Gallery. Currently, she is in the process of a new collection that will be exposed within the coming year.
She has also co-worked in the animation film called "Looking for Beglar's Sister" which is a stop motion short film with the cinematographer Tammam Hamza. In 2009-2010 it participated in international animation festivals . http://vimeo.com/15811721
In 2010 she had her first personal exhibition in AJZ Space, where she represented a serie of graphic works called “Pandora’s Diaries “.
